Raccoons in Costa Rica

Ha! Instead of getting to Costa Rica on the 8th of December, due to delays and misinformation Justin and I landed in San Jose on Wednesday! Now that we're here; we're settling in and getting little things done. Like getting a car, grocery shopping, telephones etc.

We did have the opportunity to take a few walks while we've been here and apparently raccoons are the norm. While sitting at a quaint restaurant for a snack we seen this creature walking towards us...practically fearless! Next thing you know it's on the table nearby in search for food. lol

The secret is to clap your hands as you walk towards them and the noise makes them scurry away! kinda cool I thought.

So far, Costa Rica is a splendid country with really nice people. I'm looking forward to meeting more locals and learning the language.
